Cast Away

We went to Abe's follow up appointment with the orthopedic surgeon today. Thankfully his leg has healed and they removed the cast. He did awesome when they sawed his cast off. I covered his ears and TW blocked his view and he just smiled the whole time (no joke). Apparently, the vibration of the saw tickles.
The doctor just told us with very stern voice that Abe has a extremely high pain tolerance. She said that if he ever falls and it looks like he could possibly be hurt, we need to get an x-ray. She said that some kids just don't cry and it's better to be safe than sorry. After having a few weeks to think about it, TW and I think that Abe broke his leg about 6 weeks ago. We could not pinpoint the time or the place but that is when his constant falling was at its worst. Hopefully, the broken leg was the only reason for his clumsiness.
Since we now know that Abe has such a high pain tolerance and he always leads with his head when wrestling, TW is ready to sign him up for football. He thinks that thinks he would make a great safety.

At the doctor's office today (he looks so big)
We went to Maggie Moo's for desert to celebrate the "Cast Away Day"
Got Milk?
As soon as we got home we went swimming to continue the celebration.
