Happy Birthday Bentley!

It is so hard to believe that Bentley was 12 years old yesterday. I remember the day Jessica went in to labor and the long night at the hospital waiting on him to arrive. He has been a huge blessing to our life ever since. He is the sweetest and most loving kid I have ever known. I hope and pray that Abe will take after his big cousin Bentley.

Summer Lovin'

My two most favorite things about Summer when I was a kid was swimming and eating watermellon. Now I get the joy of watching Abe have the same pleasures. I would have to say that watermellon is his favoite food right now. Maw even jucies it so he can have some watermellon juice. His favorite activity (like is mama) is swimming. He loves it! We went swimming this morning and he was the happiest I have ever seen him. He laughed and smiled the whole time. It just made my day. His new thing is to run in the pool. He does not jump anymore, he just walks right off the side and then looks up at me with a smile on his face from under the water waiting on me to pull him up. He has no fear. He kicks his feet good now and moves his arms but he is just not quite swimming on his own yet. Swimming being defined as getting from point A to point B.

Christmas in July

Since Abe has a birthday that is so close to Christmas. We decided to buy him few big boy things in July. He got a ton of toys for Christmas and his birthday but that were all mainly for a 12 month old. Now that he is almost 19months we felt that he might need a few new cool toys.

1st Train Set

Applique All The Way

Yes, I am cheering because I completed my first applique t-shirt for Abe. It is not perfect but it is a start. I have been wanting to learn how to applique for several months now. It is the main reason that I wanted to learn how to sow. I am very excited about all of the possibilities for Fall and Winter clothes that I can make and embellish with a cute applique.

House for Sell

Here we go again. We are selling another house. Just call us the traveling gypsies. We have no idea were we are going to end up this time but hope to sell the before January just in case Obama gets elected and we have to pay 28% of our property gains on taxes. Here are a few Pictures:
